Why did you join EWB?

Going into college, I knew EWB was something I wanted to do because of its incredible impact on communities around the world. Part of why I chose to study engineering is because of its capacity for social and environmental change, and EWB allows me to be part of a movement designing sustainable solutions to meet basic human needs.

Why did you stay?

I stayed because of the sense of purpose our mission gives me and the amazing people I get to share it with.

How has EWB helped you?

Coming in as a freshman, EWB helped me to become more integrated into the Rutgers community and to meet other students who shared my interests. Over the years, EWB has made me a better engineer and leader. I have developed not only technical skills, but also a unique human connection with the people I serve and work with.
