Background
Goal: Build a community center that provides space for education and collective growth
The community of El Progresso are requesting technical and financial support for the design and construction of an improved community center building to serve approximately 2,000 residents.
Per information listed on the Community Partnership Application (CPA), the design and construction work have been started but additional guidance is needed to confirm the structural building plans, quality of completed construction, and support in the remainder of construction activities.
Throughout the second semester and final weeks of the 25-26 year, Vincent and Sarah led several CAD workshops and worked on fundraising ideas for the chapter. Former Civil Liaison and President Cindy hosted a project scheduling workshop, where Project DR’s members learned how to effectively create a network for any construction project.
