On the right, meet our mentors Ali Motamedi and Michael Brown!

Ali Motamedi, PhD, MFA, is an Assistant Teaching Professor at Rutgers University. He has a background in civil engineering (risk management), information storytelling, and community engagement. Since 2014, he has taught hundreds of students in the United States and internationally.

Michael Brown, EdD, is an Assistant Dean For Student Access & Inclusion at the Rutgers School of Engineering. He is a trained quality engineer focused on increasing the retention and performance of students pursuing degrees within the engineering disciplines, while serving as an advocate for their personal, academic and career needs.
