Background
Goal: Financially support the progress of our local and international projects
In 2025, EWB-Rutgers formed Project FinDev, an internal project dedicated towards the primary goal of advancing chapter funding and resources. During our meetings, members are given the opportunity to get extra insight as to how exactly the fundraising process proceeds for our chapter. In doing so, members also get the chance to participate directly in outreach that compounds into long-term positive impact and sustainability across the globe. In the past year (Fall 2025 – Spring 2026), we are proud to say that EWB was able to raise over fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000!!). This large quantity comes as a direct result of the contributions to all of our members and Project FinDev. The money raised will be put to good use, as we continue to make plans for future travel and implementation!
The team organizes and leads fundraising events on campus such as the Annual Golf Outing and concessions to engage the community and raise support, along with expanding chapter outreach and visibility through both small scale and large scale donors. These include alumni, corporate sponsors, and general donors (small scale donations build up over time!).
